Configure the Preference Survey Popup
Preference Surveys let you ask shoppers a quick question before they claim their discount. This small interactive step helps increase engagement and attract higher-intent subscribers—shoppers who are more likely to convert after joining your list.
Follow this guide to set up and customize your Preference Survey popup.
1. Turn On Preference Surveys
- From your SalesPop dashboard, navigate through the left panel → Preference Surveys.
- Toggle the On switch to enable the feature.
- This will open additional settings to customize your question and options.
- Once enabled, the survey will appear before shoppers receive their discount.
2. Set the Reward
The reward is what shoppers receive after completing the survey.
- In the Reward Configuration section, enter the discount percentage you want to offer.
- SalesPop will automatically generate a unique discount code for each subscriber.
3. Write Your Survey Question
The question is what shoppers will answer before unlocking their discount.
Scroll to Survey Information.
Enter your Survey Title—this appears at the top of the popup.
- Example: “Who are you shopping for?”
- Example: “What type of products are you most interested in?”
Keep it short, clear, and easy to answer.
4. Add Your Answer Options
Below the title, you can create the multiple-choice answers.
- Click Add to include a new option.
- Type your answer label.
- Repeat for as many options as you need.
5. Preview Your Survey
Use the Preview button in the top right to see how your survey will appear to shoppers.
Check for:
- Clear formatting
- Answer options displaying properly
- Discount configured correctly
6. Save Your Settings
Once everything looks good, click Save.
Your Preference Survey will now be active and will appear before shoppers claim their discount.
