Conversions and Attribution
After a long process of research and planning, we finally introduced Conversions on May 2023. Please note that data started being tracked at the beginning of the month. Older transactions are not available in the dashboard.
Head to your dashboard and select the range date that you want to explore:
Conversions
We refer to conversions as the orders generated after an interaction with a popup notification from us.
On your dashboard, you will find a chart that presents the breakdown of conversions on the selected period.
Attribution
An order is attributed to POP! after a pop hover or a pop click in any of the notifications available from us.
POP! will generate an ID number and place a cookie on the customer's browser. If a purchase is made, the system will be able to identify if the ID number matches one of the IDs we saved. If the response is positive, the sale will count as a conversion.
Something to consider when reviewing conversions is that due to the differences in time zones, there could be some discrepancies.
Additionally, POP! takes into account actions (hovers or clicks) created from order_created_at_timestamp - 1 day
to order_created_at_timestamp
. This means that the system will automatically review if there was an interaction with a pop that was generated up to a day prior to when the order was made.
